FAQ: The Art of Metal Paneling
What is the technical characteristic of your metal panels?
Each piece is designed on a 100% recyclable tinplate base, combining durability and respect for the environment.
We use a state-of-the-art UV printing technique that guarantees faithful color reproduction and exceptional lightfastness, making each plate a truly lasting work of art.
What are the dimensions and weight of a plate?
Our panels come in a standard 20 x 30 cm format and weigh a mere 140 g , making them extremely easy to install without adding significant weight to your walls. This format is ideal for creating dynamic wall compositions.
Did you know that?
We also offer some creations in a 30 x 40 cm format. If you are interested in a larger format or a specific size for your decorating project, please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@muratika.com .
Why choose metal over a traditional painting?
Metal provides a rigidity and texture that paper or canvas do not possess.
By modernizing vintage-inspired designs, we offer a medium that breaks free from traditional framing. It's a contemporary alternative that adds depth and a unique character to your interior décor.
How do I install my Muratika panel?
To suit all your decorating needs, our 140g panels offer three display modes:
- Standard installation (Pre-drilled corners): Each plate has 4 pre-drilled holes at the corners for durable wall fixing with thin nails or screws.
- Drill-free option (Adhesive strips): Thanks to the lightness of the tinplate, you can use repositionable adhesive strips to fix your sign without leaving any marks on your walls.
- Displaying your artwork on an easel: For an "art gallery" look on a piece of furniture or shelf, you can place your creation on an easel (made of metal, wood, or resin). This transforms your panel into a true sculptural object.
